“I feel absolutely humbled and honored to be part of this experience. Funny enough my gut feeling was that I had been picked!” I was very excited and proud of myself. To be among the chosen twelve out of the thousands who applied was a privilege. My belief and hard work was finally being recognized,” said an ecstatic Brian.
Brian Omoke is the founder of Think Organic Kenya; an organic food product seller, exporter and importer. He specializes in online delivery of fresh veggies, fruits, herbs and spices. It’s with this idea, his drive and unwillingness to compromise on quality that showed the judges that he had more than enough G.R.I.T to be in the second season of the BYOB Tv Show.
He has not had it easy growing up. He moved around when he was younger under the parentage of his grandparents after he lost his mother and was abandoned by his father shortly afterwards. Though his early life was tough, he stuck it out and was determined never to give up, no matter what. This and his realization that school may not have all the answers led him to cross paths with the BYOB Tv Show.
For Brian, winning the prize would mean opening a physical shop so he can better connect with his customers and continue to preach the advantages of and demystify “Organic”.
